Boring, Yawn, natural nails!

Well I figured every nail blog out there has shown their natural nails at least in one blog so it is my turn. These are my natural nails but I do have OPI Envy on top to try to keep my nails from breaking if I accidently hit something. Well here they are, ta dah!

I am holding Sinful Starfish from the Adventure Islands Collection. I actually just found this collection at my local Bed Bath and Beyond yesterday and I only grabbed this one. Then when I got home I jumped on my computer to see the swatches of the others and needless to say I knew I should have picked up all 8 of them. They were priced at $1.89 at my store and I am heading there after work to pick up the rest of them. I hope they are still there.

And Another Pic... I am falling asleep, are you?

It's Sunday! Uh Oh Roll down the Window!

Today I am wearing Uh Oh Roll Down the Window by OPI. It's a new color from their Touring America Collection released a few weeks back.

I opted to get this one instead of China Glaze Westside Warrior from their new Metro collection. I feel this one is a tad bit lighter than Westside Warrior. The application was smooth but with creams I always have problems painting them on my nails, sometimes I just can't get it even. I need more practice and more practice, lol!

Planks A-Lot Tuesday

Here is my mani for Tuesday. I am wearing Planks A-Lot from the OPI Pirates of the Caribbean Collection. I used Zoya Jem for the zig zag tips, and to get these sharp lines just use scotch tape. Cut a piece of tape into two sections and use the sharp corners of the triangles and tape them on your nails to the desired look. I added China glaze fairy dust and topped it with Seche Vite.

Hope you guys like it, Happy TUESDAY!

China glaze weekend Haul

Over the weekend I spotted the new China glaze Metro collection at Sally's Beauty Supply, I wasn't too impressed by this collection but I picked up the ones I thought were most authentic. Midtown Magic, Skyscraper and Trendsetter. I then headed to Ulta and spotted the new Halloween collection out for China glaze, I just picked up one, It's alive.

Midtown Magic seems to be a thicker polish than most other China glaze nail polishes I own. It was hard for me to paint my nails perfect, as you can see in this picture I messed up big time on my thumb nail, I think I must have hit it on something. Jeez, lol!
Midtown Magic, very hard to capture the sparkles in the polish on camera in dull lighting. It is darker on my nails than I thought it would be compared to some of the swatches I have seen online. I am not totally in love with it but maybe it will grow on me. I like dark colors but I think this one is a tad bit too dark for my taste.

Wonder woman inspired!

I love wonder woman and what better way to show it through your nails. I was inspired by the wonder woman collection from the Mac makeup line they released awhile back. I hope you guys like it.

I used China glaze, Dorthy who? as the base
Essie Too Too Hot for the red lightning bolt tips
China glaze Midnight Kiss (gold)
Topped it off with Seche Vite top coat

Explosion

Today I was going through a bunch of my favorite nail art blogs because I wanted to do something exciting with my nails. I did the explosion nail featured by the nailside. Her version is way better than mine but this is my first time doing the design, and it turned out alright. I must say I have just worn this mani for a day and have gotten ALOT of attention. Hope you guys like it.
